What Is A Labeler/Tabber? A labeler feeds one-up pressure-sensitive labels and stacked individual mail pieces. As the mail piece is fed through the machine, a label is automatically peeled from its backing paper and pressed into position on the mail piece. A tabber feeds one-up pressure-sensitive tabs (wafer seals) and stacked individual mail pieces, such as self-mailers and double postcards, that require one open side to be sealed. As the mail piece is fed through the machine, a tab is peeled off its backing paper, wrapped around the open end of the mail piece, and pressed closed. |
